This is somewhat of a rhetorical question in reference to my photos. I have always enjoyed photography and use my camera everywhere I go and at every event (just ask my nieces and nephew who are the subject of many, many photos). People have often comment that I am rarely or never in my photos. Well, someone had to work the camera; besides, I’m kinda shy.

On a tour of Turkey last fall, I found it rather interesting that one of the other travelers had her picture taken often and everywhere. It seemed a little strange to me, but I’m kinda shy and I’m usually taking the pictures.

Then I started looking through my files for profile photos for my web-site and fan page and, wow, I have very few travel photos with me in them. What an eye opener.

Note to self: Take lots of photos with me in the picture, especially in front of ancient ruins and with the locals. Proof positive that I was there and having a good time!
